Survey Consulting

The University utilizes Qualtrics for survey needs. All members of the University (faculty, staff, students, and administrators) have access to a Qualtrics account. The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) will provide assistance in using Qualtrics to members of the University community, including (but not limited to):

Examples of activities with which the OIE will assist

  • Getting started with Qualtrics
  • Creating and managing projects within Qualtrics
  • Understanding and selecting appropriate questions types in Qualtrics
  • Skip/display logic for complex surveys
  • Utilizing contacts/directories
  • Administering surveys directly to respondents within Qualtrics
  • Brainstorming ways you can use Qualtrics for your research, administrative, or teaching needs

Types of projects on which OIE regularly collaborates with members of the University community

  • Clinical/preceptor evaluations
  • Post-graduate student and employer evaluations
  • Employee candidate feedback surveys for University employee search committees
  • Regularly scheduled University-wide survey projects
  • Ad-hoc survey projects
