What brought you to SoC?
I love all of the great research opportunities. There are always new projects being
discussed which makes the field exciting. In class, we often bring up new technologies
and advancements to enhance what we are learning. I first started enjoying CS when
I participated in the girls who code summer immersion program. I liked being able
to create useful informative tools and conquering small challenges every day. The
SOC has been a great place for me to dive into CS. The affordability, available scholarships,
and athletic opportunities brought me to the SOC, but the research opportunities,
enjoyable learning, and invested professors have led me to stay.
