Tenure-Track Position Mathematics:
Position Number 3322
The University of South Alabama Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a full-time (9 month), tenure-track Assistant Professor position in mathematics, starting August 15, 2024. Applicants should possess an earned doctoral degree in mathematics or a closely related field, but ABD’s near completion of the degree will be considered. Applicants should have a strong commitment to both research and teaching.
Review of applications will begin on December 15, 2023, and continue until the position is filled.

Non-Tenure-Track Position, 12-Month, Instructor or Assistant Professor
The University of South Alabama Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a continuing, non-tenure track (12-month) Instructor/Assistant Professor position in mathematics and/or statistics, starting August 15, 2024.
Applicants for the instructor position must have at least a master’s degree in mathematics or statistics (with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the corresponding discipline). Non-tenure track Assistant Professor applicants must hold a doctorate in mathematics or statistics (with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the corresponding discipline).
Applicants should have a strong commitment to teaching and service. The responsibilities for this position will include regular teaching duties, professional development, service to the department and university, administrative duties, as well as other teaching related activities.
