The USA Office of Marketing and Communications distributes news releases announcing graduations, awards and honors, offices held, and other student accomplishments to the hometown newspapers of our current students.

To have the Office of Marketing and Communications send a press release for you, please complete and return our Hometown News Form. Due to the high volume of requests, it may take longer than you expect for the release to reach your paper of choice.

We realize how important it is to family and friends that these accomplishments are noted in the individual’s hometown paper. To do this accurately, we require the names and contact information of the local newspaper(s) most likely to publish this kind of information (small community papers are more likely to print the item than large dailies such as the New York Times or Atlanta Journal-Constitution).
