JagFIT@South has been created with a focused approach to elevate health and well-being for the University community. We want to encourage you to Move Your Body, Fuel Smart, Stress Less and Live Healthy. Our goal is for you to Live, Learn, Feel and Engage. The information and resources you will find in each element are designed to positively impact your personal well-being and happiness while helping you reach your full potential.
Join fellow employees in a campus-wide movement challenge as we kick off our Wellness in Community campaign—designed to support long-term wellness habits, create meaningful connections between employees across academic and health campuses, and add a spark of friendly competition! Employees & SRC Members will be challenged to join in individual and team wellness challenges throughout the semester to collect points toward outstanding prizes!
The program is designed in 4 parts:
Part 1: Semester Long Check-In Challenge - Earn 1 point per visit to the SRC from August 1st to December 5th.
Part 2: Team Fitness Challenges - Earn additional points by participating in our team step challenges or any other team challenges throughout the semester. (Points dependent on placement of team at the conclusion of the challenges).
Part 3: Individual Fitness Challenges - Earn additional points by participating in any of our individual fitness challenges throughout the semester. (Points dependent on placement at the conclusion of the challenges).
Part 4: Join Our Community in the Challenge Runner app - Earn 1 point for joining our online community through the Challenge Runner App. Team up with others, encourage each other, and respond to our wellness prompts to share your thoughts with other faculty/staff and SRC members.
