Why Study Computer Science at USA?

The School of Computing is a designated National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense. According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) employment in computer and information technology occupations is projected to grow 11 percent from 2019 to 2029, much faster than the average for all occupations. These occupations are projected to add about 531,200 new jobs. The School of Computing has many departmental scholarship opportunities to offer our students. All of our scholarships may be added on top of any general University scholarships. The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET. The School of Computing offers an accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s (ABM) program in Computer Science. ABM students typically complete the master’s degree within one academic year after completing the undergraduate degree.
