Library Instruction

Business professionals need to be able to locate accurate information from current, reputable resources in a timely manner. Amia Baker, the MCOB Library Director and Business Librarian, is available as a guest lecturer for classes, workshops, orientations, or Zoom meetings to teach these important skills. Sessions can be tailored to meet the needs for specific assignments or goals. To schedule a session, contact or 251-460-7998.
Other instruction services available include creating a customized course LibGuide on the MCOB Library’s website that includes recommended sources and research strategies. And finally, short video tutorials can be created to demonstrate research tools or concepts. These can be uploaded into your Canvas course site.
