Letter From Your President
Hey Jags!
It is such a privilege to be able to serve as the University of South Alabama’s SGA President. When I first stepped foot onto the beautiful campus, I knew instantly that this was going to be my home. Never did it cross my mind that I would be leading this University as your President. I thank all of those who have helped me along this amazing journey.
Throughout my time at South, I have been involved in many organizations including Student Government Association, where I have served as a senator for the Mitchell College of Business, Governmental Relations Committee Chair, and the Student-at-Large. I have also been in other organizations such as USA Dance Marathon, Circle K, Accounting Club, and Alpha Tau Omega.
A piece of advice to incoming students and current students: get involved, be active, and get out of your comfort zone! College is a time to make new friends, make memories, and experience new things. Don’t ever be afraid to put yourself out there!
As your SGA President, I am here to listen to your concerns and ideas, advocate on your behalf, and be your voice. Please stop by the SGA office and chat whether you have a concern or not! We love to hear your ideas! You can also attend our weekly meetings that take place every Monday. Every student has a voice, so don’t be afraid to use it!
As Always, GO JAGS!
Hank Rader SGA President
