Susan Hales

Susan Warley Hales exhibited when she was a graduate assistant in English and pursued the Master's of Arts in English. She also served as the design and art editor of Oracle, the USA Fine Arts magazine. One of her paintings won second place in the spring 2003 Student Art Show at USA. She is now a library technical assistant in the University Library. She has previous experience as a stewardess, the owner of an interior design business, and salesperson of various products including cars and computers. She is a member of Alpha Theta Chi and gaining a reputation in creative writing. Susan recently had a poem accepted by Poetsagainstthewar.org and keeps a weblog called DoublyGifted, on which readers can find her stories, poetry, political rants and artwork.
