Letter Packets for Students Applying to Medical School or Dental School
To be eligible, students must have a minimum 3.00 University of South Alabama GPA. In addition, students should have no lower than a 3.0 math/science GPA.
1) Complete the 2022 Application for Pre-health Letter Packet Form
*If you applied in 2020 or 2021, complete this Reapplication Letter Packet Form
2) Download and email this Recommendation Letter Instructions sheet (PDF) to each of your letter writers.
***Letter writers need to be emailed the instructions using the pdf form with embedded

Here are few virtual shadowing opportunities you can take advantage of to learn more about a variety of Pre-Health fields.
- For volunteer opportunities, sign up for SOUTH SERVES and get involved in the community!

- Huntsville Rural Pre-Medical Internship is a seven week summer program for pre-medicine students interested in rural primary care. The deadline to apply if usually at the beginning of February each year.
