Hertz Foundation Graduate Fellowship Award October Supports five years of study at a participating university in applied sciences leading to a Ph.D.
National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowships December For three years of study toward the Ph.D in mathematics, science or engineering.
National Institutes of Health NRSA Fellowships Various dates Up to five years of study in biomedical, behavioral, and clinical sciences. Applicants must be at dissertation research stage.
National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship October Three years of study of science, mathematics, engineering or behavioral and social sciences, leading to Ph.D.
Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation December Supports undergraduate and graduate students in STEM disciplines to increase number of civilian scientists and engineers working at DoD laboratories. Includes employment following graduation.
