From microchips to smart phones to game consoles to computers, Computer Engineers truly make the future come alive. Little wonder that computer engineering has growing numbers of job openings! Computer Engineers study both computer software and computer hardware, increasing their versatility and employability.
What is Electrical Engineering and what do Electrical Engineers do?
Electrical Engineering
Electrical Engineering has ushered in huge advances in civilization, including electrical power, electronics, radios, control systems, and robots. Electrical Engineers deal with all aspects of electricity and electronics, ranging from nationwide power grids down to integrated circuits containing billions of transistors.
The ECE department offers the following degree programs:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- General Track
- Pre-Med Track
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE)
- Hardware Track
- Software Track
The USA Electrical and Computer Engineering Department (ECE) offers the Master of Science in Electrical Engineering degree with three tracks:
- Electrical Track
- Computer Track
- Systems Track
Faculty in the ECE Department can also advise students studying for a Doctoral degree.
