USA Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology

The Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology is a dynamic research intensive basic science department of the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. Our teaching mission includes instruction in medical biochemistry for undergraduate medical students and lectures on biochemistry to graduate students in the multidisciplinary Basic Medical Sciences Graduate Program. Postdoctoral fellows participate in departmental and College of Medicine training experiences. Faculty members also participate in undergraduate research programs in the summer.

Lung Diseases

• Pulmonary hypertension
