It is my great pleasure to welcome you back to Mobile, AL for the 2019 Southeastern Regional Robert Noyce Connections: Removing Barriers in STEM Teacher Education
Building on the momentum from last year's event we will continue our exploration of the challenges and potential solutions to the persistent problems of equity in education. We look forward to continuing the connections established at last year's event and establishing new connections relationships those from newly funded projects as we all work to remove barriers in STEM teacher education.
We look forward to hosting this event so that we all can share resources and lessons learned from your Noyce projects, and be inspired by one another.

The National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program seeks to encourage talented science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) majors and professionals to become K-12 mathematics and science (including engineering and computer science) teachers. The program invites creative and innovative proposals that address the critical need for recruiting and preparing highly effective elementary and secondary science and mathematics teachers in high-need local educational agencies.
