USA Housing is continuing to monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). It is our priority to provide up-to-date information to our residents and their families.
Please see below for up-to-date information:
Designated quarantine and isolation housing will no longer be offered. Students are expected to make plans in advance of the Fall 2022 semester in case isolation or quarantine is needed. Residential students with a permanent address in a location which is farther away than a 400-mile radius of campus may appeal to the Director of Housing for potential accommodations.
If a student living in on-campus housing receives a positive COVID-19 test or has been exposed to COVID-19, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Detailed instructions regarding isolation or quarantine will be provided. We encourage on-campus students to return home to complete their isolation or quarantine period. Students may also choose to isolate or quarantine in their residence hall room and should only leave to receive medical care. The university is not providing separate housing or meal delivery to those who need isolation or quarantine. If you decide to remain on-campus during your isolation or quarantine period, you may not eat or drink in the campus dining locations but can use contactless delivery services to obtain meals.
You will be instructed to follow the current CDC guidelines for quarantine and isolation. If you are experiencing symptoms, have been exposed to COVID-19, or test positive for COVID-19, wear a high-quality, well-fitted KN95 mask. These are available in the Housing Office, Student Health, and other locations around campus.
