of South Alabama kicks off January 2023 with plans to celebrate our rich, 50-year
history of educating physicians and researchers. Celebrating the Whiddon College of Medicine is as easy as 1, 2, 3:
1. Save the Date
Join us June 8-11, 2023, for the All-Class Medical Alumni Reunion Weekend at the Grand Hotel Resort and Spa in Point Clear, Alabama!
The special 50th Anniversary Gala will be during the reunion on Saturday, June 10.
2. Nominate People of Influence
In honor of the College of Medicine's anniversary, the 50 People of Influence Award will recognize 50 individuals who have significantly impacted the college during its 50-year history through their outstanding achievements, service, and/or leadership to the college and the communities they serve. Alumni, current and past faculty and staff, and friends of the college are eligible.
Awards will be presented during the special 50th Anniversary Gala scheduled for Saturday, June 10, 2023, during the All-Class Medical Alumni Reunion Weekend at the Grand Hotel. The deadline for submissions is January 31, 2023.
