The Department’s EMS Research Program is dedicated to investigation of the emergency medical services environment by the application of epidemiological methods with the goals of acquiring new knowledge, reviewing and/or revising existing knowledge and ultimately promoting improved efficacy and efficiency of pre-hospital patient care techniques.  Investigation is accomplished by gathering measurable evidence, data collection, observation and experimentation.

The EMS Research Program will periodically update this page with links to popular research web sites and other research related items that are of particular interest to EMS researchers and students.   Please check back from time to time for more information or contact the department’s Program Coordinator at the below address.
